This marketplace provides a tool to facilitates Job Referrals in a novel way. This is not a marketplace to dodge or bypass the hiring process in any way, instead, it provides a method to get to the interviewer’s door by way of referrals.

About me and my motivation
I am an Australian, a family man, and a project manager by profession. I had been working as an employee in various companies for almost two decades.
I lost my job in May 2020 for the first time in my 20 year career due to cutting measures taken up by my employer due to the pandemic.
I tried hard to get another job. I explored almost all Australian job boards, got a professional resume built, reached out to previous employers, recruitment agencies, and applied for multiple jobs by tailoring my resume and cover letter for each application. I even reached out to people inside and outside of my LinkedIn network to get referrals. But there was no success.
After doing this for almost three months, I found myself simply submitting untailored resumes to any job that came close to my profile. I am sure that would have made the life of many recruiters hard, but mine was harder and I was desperate. I faced stiff competition, and there were 100s of job applicants for almost all relevant jobs that I applied for. But I wasn't surprised when I never got reverted for my applications as it would be impossible for a recruiter to review every resume. So I just kept doing this and hung on tight to my LUCK.
After five months, I got a job, but by then, I had decided to do something about it. I wondered that there has to be an easier.. a better way to at least get to the interviewer's door to prove my worth. JobReferred is a result of that struggle that I went through and I am sure there are many more people like me. This is not a marketplace to dodge the hiring process in any way, instead, it's a method to get the attention of hiring managers and get referred for the hiring process.
